Reflections: One week after waiting until the last minute got me a $50 ticket six rows from the field in Cleveland, I pulled the same trick in Arkansas. Gasp! I think I ended up around four rows away from the front for $19 by purchasing my ticket after the match had started, giving me a truly enviable view of the pitch.

The match itself – as the majority of the games were in the 2025 season – was fairly unremarkable. Being able to watch the logistics behind a football game itself, conversely, was fascinating. Given that two home games ago we had fired our head coach after a humiliating 56-13 loss to Notre Dame, a quiet match was nothing to complain about.

My sincerest apologies to the inebriated fan that my very-far-from-home Cleveland waterproof bewildered. I don’t think my very-far-from-home accent will have helped matters either.

Final Score: 33-24. Nothing too gruesome.

Best Food or Drink: A fascinating combination of really good nacho cheese, a mediocre taco, and the eternally-excellent Wrights BBQ sauce.
