About Abel
Abel Fenwick is a teacher, researcher, and writer from the United Kingdom who moved to the University of Arkansas to pursue her MA in English in 2024.
Starting out as an independent scholar in 2023, Fenwick has published with presses including Palgrave MacMillan, Routledge, and MacFarland. Her interests include the interplay of psychology, horror and the gothic in literature, as well as representations of criminality and queer identities in cinema.
Since moving to the United States, Fenwick has discovered an unexpected love for the NFL and even attended Superbowl LX in 2026!
