Reflections: To call the choice to attend this game “last minute” would be an understatement.

I arrived at the stadium midway through the third quarter, having been released from a very intensive training course an hour earlier than expected. I was so late, in fact, that the bewildered stadium staff allowed me to sit in the lower levels rather than climb three stories, meaning this game was the first one my short-sighted self could actually see.

The atmosphere down in the stands was very different to the uncontrolled chaos of the student section, especially as we won this game decisively thanks to quarterback Taylen Green’s two rushing and two passing touchdowns. I was delighted to get my first field-side picture with Big Red, even though I still had my laptop in hand and looked like an exhausted mother of five.

Final Score: 14 – 35. Great job, Razorbacks!

Best Food or Drink: The ambrosia-esque relief of being out of that training session!
